A 4 minute short solo documentary about a stuntman called Marcelo.
Marcelo de Ramos better known as Marcelo the Daredevil, has an extremely dangerous job as a specialist stuntman. Some of his stunts include diving through hoops of razor sharp knives, somersaulting backwards over up to 6 people, piercing spikes through his body including the mouth, jumping from a great height onto real broken glass, hammering nails and screw drivers into the nose, dislocating his neck and the list goes on! His claim to fame was in the year 2000 when he was performing in the U.K. Nobody knows why , but he had this crazy idea that He was capable of somersaulting backwards over a car.
This film was my first year project for single camera.
The brief was to make a film with the theme "solo", and had the limitation that only one character could talk.
